This artwork is inspired by the idea of twin souls, twin flames and soulmates. One is the sun and one is the moon. It could be a friend, partner, parent or child - someone that you feel such a connection with. I hope it can bring a sense of calm and peace to you on your daily journey.
My process: I gain inspiration from the natural world, often taking photos on hikes or memorising details of a certain plant or crystal formation I'd like to draw. I usually start drawing straightaway with the pen, forgetting the possibility of making mistakes and simply letting the art become what it is. I add things and tweak them until I feel that the picture transports me somewhere calm and beautiful.
